B-reel was tasked with making the Google Cardboard section at Google’s 2015 I/O event, as part of that we were asked to launch the Google Education’s VR product, Expeditions. This product lets classes take virtual field trips to places and times the school bus can’t reach.
The product is intended to work as springboard for learning by providing a more immersive experience of a place or time to help inspire to and understand a subject deeper.
We brought this to life in a short film telling the story through the students them selves in Chicago, London and Ghana, as they experienced Google Expeditions for the first time.
