Diesel’s 55DSL brand’s Autumn/Winter collection was sparked by the designers’ trip to Scandinavia’s North —think folk tales, dark winters, and the rare, stunning aurora borealis.
So instead of doing a run-of-the-mill fashion campaign, we took the same inspiration as the designers and wrote a book of dark tales from the land of aurora borealis, spotlighting the clothes in the illustrations. Giving us a catalog that was anything but typical and that we could then take selected stories from and turn into print ads.

For the illustrations of the book and ads, we partnered with graphic novelist Ashley Wood. Known for his unique and Eisner Award-winning storytelling. Making this his only brand collaboration to date and the book a collectible one-of-a-kind piece. Which we also released in a limited signed edition for the press and influencers.
